Recipe for a warm school lunch

We all know how much energy children need during their school day, especially if we want them to get the most out of their learning and play. That's why sometimes a sandwich or salad isn't enough for a child's lunch. A cold lunch leaves a bad impression on most children and also prevents us from including any of our favorite traditional or family lunches.

So how can you ensure your child gets a nutritious and warm midday meal?

This can be achieved by finding the right tools and choosing the best lunch recipes for kids. We have a few ideas here at Citron.

Keeping food hot

One of the best ways to keep your child's food hot from midday until lunchtime is to make sure you have the right equipment. Your best bet is the Citron Vacuum Insulated Thermal Food Jar , which can keep food warm for up to six hours and cold for up to seven—that's a lot of class periods for fresh food. It's also leak-proof and made of 304 stainless steel, increasing its durability and longevity. Available in two sizes, the food jar is made from sustainable, toxin-free materials. We've done all of this so you can feel confident purchasing this eco-friendly product that will accompany your child to school every day.

Unlike many alternative models on the market, this baby food jar is easy to open and features a removable silicone inner layer for easy cleaning, making it particularly appealing to both babies and parents.

Pasta with cream sauce and vegetables
