Proven steps to make preparing food easier every day

Mothers are always confused about preparing nutritious and healthy meals for their children and the time required to prepare them. Entering the kitchen is accompanied by children who often refuse to leave their homes, which wastes a lot of time, which is essentially limited due to the many tasks required of them throughout the day. However, the following steps can save a lot of time:

1- Make sure you have the ingredients you need to prepare the meal at hand the day before so that you don’t discover them while cooking and need to order from the supermarket, which will take up a lot of your time.

2. Write down the meals you intend to prepare during the week so you are ready with ideas in advance.

3- Make the steps easier for yourself by using electric appliances such as a chopper, which cuts vegetables into small sizes instead of chopping them with a knife.

4- Keep chopped onions and grated garlic on hand, which can usually be found in the supermarket.

5. Seasoning and preparing meat and chicken on the same day you buy them makes it much easier. Then, put them in bags and seal them tightly. Each bag should be enough for a meal for a day. You can also buy white sticky paper and write the details on it, because after putting it in the freezer, it becomes frozen and it is difficult to identify the types.

6. Clean the vegetables and place them in their drawer in the refrigerator after drying them completely by placing them on thick kitchen towels and making sure to remove any moisture so that they do not rot.

7. Be one step ahead. For example, use a kettle to heat water while preparing some foods such as pasta or rice instead of waiting for the water to heat up on the stove.

8. (One hand cooks and the other washes) is one of the most famous grandmothers’ sayings, and it is true. If you clean the utensils used in cooking immediately, there will be no piles of pots and cooking utensils accumulating in the sink.

10- When shopping, choose thin meat and chicken, not thick meat, as they take less time to cook and prepare.
