Activities to keep your little one busy at home

Keeping your little one busy is one of the biggest challenges a mother faces. While she tries to coordinate her time between daily tasks, work, and home, and allocate enough time for him, she keeps going around in the same circle. She may resort to some temporary solutions, such as giving the little one a mobile phone or tablet, or watching TV for long periods just to be able to finish her task, but she is not satisfied with this solution and knows the dangers of exposure to screens. That is why we have collected for you a number of activities to occupy your little one at home:

- Socks and Basket Game : Use any old box and roll the socks into a ball. Place the box a reasonable distance away from your little one and let him throw the socks into the box and score points each time he succeeds.

Filling the bathtub with soap bubbles : This is a favorite game for all children. Adjust the water temperature and get a strong type of soap to fill the bathtub with bubbles. The little one will have fun with his rubber toys, but this activity requires you to be with the little one and not leave him.

- Sorting matching colors : All you need are colored scraps. Put them together and ask your child to sort each color separately. This activity strengthens his concentration and knowledge of colors.

- Clay and dough modeling : One of the oldest activities that we grew up with and have always loved. Perhaps what is new about our childhood days is the availability of a very large number of shapes that can be formed from clay, which undoubtedly increases the fun.

- Bowling game : Prepare old plastic bottles that can be colored to make them attractive, and give the child the opportunity to knock down as many bottles as possible using a small ball.

Hand puppets : These are cotton toys that can be worn and moved. If your child is over three years old, encourage him to tell you a story using these puppets and interact with him to keep him telling stories.
